Inside the jury room: Picking the jury

Welcome!
Welcome!

Question 1: How long was it from when I was first requested to give information to the court, to actually showing up as a member of the jury pool?

 3 hours 9 months
 2 weeks

Question 2: The summons say you may be chosen to serve on a jury for a period of up to two weeks. What does this mean?

They'll have you picking up trash around he courthouse if there's nothing else to do You'll be sitting around in a jury pool for 2 weeks
Most trials last 2 weeks or less

Question 3: A happy juror handler came in, changed the monitors to black and made us watch a dated instructional video about the valuable service jurors play to the legal system. The hostess of the video had a stunning 1980's hairstyle, eerily reminiscent of?

 Jon Bon Jovi Princess Di

Question 4: We walk into the jury room, and people are inside waiting for us. I expected an empty courtroom, but the plaintiffs and defendants are there to see the jury picked. I'm potential juror 19, and the jury box holds 14, so I end up sitting?

On the witness stand On the judge's lap
 In the audience seating

Question 5: So we're in the courtroom, and everything is going along just dandy. Some people definitely don't want to be on the jury, but with my number I don't think I'll make it in. Just then the defendant's attorney turns to me and says?

"What's that smell?" "Did you call me Matlock?"
"What about you? You're a mystery to me"
