Servicemen meet to vow loyalty
July.27.2002 Juche 91 Officers and men of the three services of the Korean People's Army met in front of the monument to victory in the Fatherland Liberation War on July 26 to vow loyalty on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. Kim Yong Chun, chief of the general staff of the PKA, in a report at the meeting said that the brilliant victory in the war was the precious fruition of the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, gifted strategist and peerlessly brilliant commander. The immortal exploits he performed by leading the war to the victory will shine forever, he said. He called for eternally glorifying the ever-victorious history of the revolutionary armed forces under the army-based leadership of supreme commander Kim Jong Il, cherishing the boundless national pride and self-confidence of being blessed with the brilliant commanders and winning victories in wars generation after generation.
